"The 'Good Day Power' Created by GD"

GD's Good Day, Its Great Value

The Power of One Person

굿데이 효과

GD has made a comeback, holding a concert for the first time in 8 years, and is proactively running a project called Good Day. From the first episode, I have been watching intently, feeling the spread of its energy and meaning, and sharing my support every moment. In this era, I am grateful for the effort to have such a warm attempt to comfort everyone in this difficult situation. I get the feeling that everyone is doing what they can do best in their respective places, and within that, words like hope, comfort, progress, opportunity, togetherness, overcome and communication come to mind one after another.

I remember a few years ago when GD was caught up in rumors and investigated in connection with a certain celebrity's drug case. I saw on TV his composed demeanor, his face without any annoyance, and his calm response. Of course, he was found not guilty, and for those watching, it was just a minor incident that was resolved. At that time, I think I considered how GD himself must have felt. The harsh burden he had to bear because of his fame.

In times like this, I think of 'panic disorder,' which famous celebrities often complain about. Those who show their unique 'optimization' on their stage, something that others cannot dare to imitate, must have felt a great gap the moment they stepped back into the world after their performance. I wonder if being away from such homeostasis caused that terrifying illness. The gifts they give us, who live day by day peacefully by maintaining this homeostasis, have always been so great, joyful, and fantastic.

The artist that comes to mind here is Michael Jackson. He was a once-in-a-century, one-and-only artist. People accused him of child abuse. I neither read nor believed the gossip articles. This is because I believe that artists have very pure souls. If an artist is not pure and possesses a tainted, vile soul, they cannot become an artist in the first place. Art is added to purity and manifested through a noble soul. People must have witnessed Michael Jackson's unbelievable performances on stage, moving between the heavenly realm, that is, the divine world, and the human world.

Outside the stage, in the world, people relentlessly applied human standards to that artist, who lived a difficult and hardworking life, judged him, and spoke carelessly. On stage, they demanded the divine world, and in the world, they demanded that he act according to extremely ordinary worldly standards. Perhaps he was already living, looking at the world from another dimension, and every moment was a battle between himself and the world, a noble and fragile crying seven-year-old boy who needed to be protected.

The world trampled, stole, defiled, and spat upon the soul of an artist. I wonder about that psychology. What is needed in times like this is 'writing positive comments.' I remember assigning a task titled 'Writing Positive Comments' when I was studying something back then. Those of you reading this, please write just one positive comment at times like that. You might save a soul.

MZ generation, please create a world where you trust and support each other. It is the world you will live in, so you must cultivate that field. Nothing is solved with negativity. That's why we should talk about 'peace' instead of 'war prevention.' By changing negative statements into positive ones.

I hope that whatever happened to Kim Soo-hyun, who participated in Good Day, will be resolved well. I hope that we can trust Kim Soo-hyun himself to resolve it and give him a chance to reconcile. Naturally, the resolution should be left to that person, and we can just watch. I am writing this with gratitude to GD and with support for Kim Soo-hyun. Thank you very much for reading my writing.

Epilogue, I hope that the movement to write positive comments will spread as a traditional culture in large corporations, broadcasting stations, or schools.              Written by Yi Chung-Hwa  Art Coaching
